The Stealth Dimmer SP is a mod for your Game Boy Advance SP that adds dimming functionality to the internal LCD front light. The installation is completely internal and the chip is controlled by the buttons already on your GBA-SP. Select the light level that is just right for your playing environment and the chip will remember it. You can still turn the light on and off using the "light" button and it will go right back to your preset level. The Stealth Dimmer SP also has the option of turning off the light after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery power.

Features:

• Dimming: Hold down the light button. Now use A (brighter) or B (darker) to smoothly scroll through 75 levels of brightness.
• On/Off Toggle: The only chip to retain original on/off functionality of light button.
• Instant On/Off: Hold A or B during power-up to instantly turn light on or off.
• Memory: The chip will remember your dimmer settings if you turn the GBA-SP off or even remove the battery.
• Power-Save: Shuts off the light if the A, B, or Light buttons are not pressed for 5 minutes. Comes back on at the touch of a button. Can be disabled by holding the Light button down for 5 seconds (light blinks to confirm)
• Standby Sensing: If the GBA-SP is in standby mode, the chip will not activate the power-save feature. This prevents you from having to wake the Game Boy up and then turn the light back on.
• Flicker-Free: The only chip that synchronizes the Game Boy Advance SP's front light with its LCD for flicker-free dimming.
• Hum-Free: The Stealth Dimmer is the only chip available that does not introduce a humming noise into the headphone output of the Game Boy Advance when dimming.
• Built-In Diagnostics: Helps with installation and troubleshooting by blinking error codes on the GBA-SP frontlight whenever a connection problem is detected.
