DVD video effects are becoming increasingly popular in haunted attractions. They're great for showing haunt videos on a screen or projected onto a prop, but with the addition of a little hardware they can do so much more.

 

Trigger Playback Right on Cue

Typically you pop the DVD into the player and let it loop. Wouldn't it be more effective if the video started right as your "victims" approached? Our DVD player with trigger input has an extra connection on the back that lets you hook up a variety of switches and sensors:

• Motion Sensor
• Pressure Mat
• Pushbutton
• Door Switch
• Reed Switch
• Relay
• DTMF Controller
• Remote Control

Once triggered, the player starts the video for a perfectly timed scare.

 

Control Props

Haunt effect videos are frightening all by themselves, but it's possible to control devices beyond the screen for an added dimension. Connect the DVD player to our DTMF relay board and trigger just about anything you can control with a switch:
